On June 5 2025, Peter Caputo, Chamber Past President attended the senior graduation ceremony at Sewanhaka High School and presented Kyla Montoya the ChamberĀ of Commerce Scholastic Achievement Award.

On June 10, 2025 members of the New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce presented the scholastic achievement award to Ava von Hof from Great Neck South High School.

Ava will be attending the University of Tampa in the fall.

Herricks High School
On June 13th Herricks High School held their student awards ceremony. Peter Caputo, New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce Past President presented Jasmine Feng with our Scholastic Achievement Award.

On Wednesday, April 9th, NHP Chamber of Commerce President, Cheryl Fajardo, and Benevolence Co-Chair, Smitha Lukose-Khan, presented Certificates of Appreciation to recognize several businessesĀ who provided a significant contribution to the 2024 NHP Chamber Annual Food Drive.

Thank you to:

  • Steven Bogdanos of All the Right Moves Moving & Storage, for providing moving trucks and drivers to transport the collected proceeds to the receiving Organizations.
  • Ryan & Eileen McGowan of GEICO, for the usage of their office space as headquarters for the duration of the drive.
  • Flushing Bank for their donation of $500.00 and tote bags for the distribution of collection items.
  • Fotene Speres of Omega Diner, for your $500.00 donation towards the purchase of non-perishable food items.

These generous donations of goods and services made a substantial impact towards the drive’s success and opportunity to give back to the residents of our community.Ā  Thank you for your contributions!
